Bajo la sal won
in the categories of Up and Coming Male Actor (Ricardo Polanco), Best Male Supporting
Role (Emilio Guerrero), Edition (Jorge García) and Photography (Sergei
Saldívar), as well as Diosa de Plata?s Special Award for Animation that went to
René Castillo for his creative work.

 During the ceremony Intimidades de Shakespeare y Victor Hugo
by Yulene Olaizola, FICM 2008?s official selection, received a Diosa de Plata
award for Best Documentary.
