Gallardo The seventh edition of Impulso Morelia began at the 19th International Film Festival (FICM). Since 2015, this space has had a program for Mexican feature films in different stages of editing and post-production, with the goal of generating constructive dialogue on the proposals and give them international visibility. Impulso Morelia 7 The filmmakers whose works were selected to participate in this industry section of FICM participated in virtual sessions of dialogue and deliberation with the panel of experts, made up of prominent American producer Michael Fitzgerald; renowned documentary director, producer and photographer, Everardo González; prominent Mexican producer Mónica Lozano; program director of the prestigious Chicken & Egg Pictures organization, Lucila Moctezuma; and renowned film programmer, critic and historian Charles Tesson, who was the director of the Critics' Week at the Cannes Film Festival for a decade. This time, the selected films were: 130 millones de zapatos, by Carlos Eichelmann Kaiser; Benigno Cruz, by Jorge Hernández Aldana; Cartas desde el país de los tarahuamaras, by Federico Cecchetti; Sanson and me, by Rodrigo Reyes; Trazos del cielo, by Ligia Cortés Aguila, y Un lugar llamado música, by Enrique M. Rizo.
