Adriana Domínguez Will Present ADOLFO DOMÍNGUEZ: EL ECO DE OTRAS VOCES at the 24th FICM

As part of the 24th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), the documentary Adolfo Domínguez: El eco de otras voces, directed by Adriana Domínguez—who also serves as the firm’s Executive President—will premiere, with Domínguez herself presenting the film.

The film explores the life and career of Adolfo Domínguez, one of the most renowned designers in the history of Spanish fashion, to shed light on lesser-known aspects of his personal and professional history. From his childhood in Trives, Spain, to his university years in Paris and his time in prison during the Franco regime, the documentary takes viewers on a journey through the experiences that helped shape his perspective and creative legacy.

Through testimonies and archival material that recreate different stages of his life, Adolfo Domínguez: el eco de otras voces explores the man beyond his role as a designer and delves into the circumstances, ideas, and experiences that shaped his career.

The film was written and directed by Adriana Domínguez and produced by Pepelu Viñas, through the production company Fundación Adolfo Domínguez. Santiago Mañasco and José Luís Pecharroman were responsible for cinematography.

The screening will take place on Wednesday, October 21, at 4:00 p.m. at the Mariano Matamoros Theater.
