Image Bonilla, Santiago He studied Hispanic Language and Literature at the School of Philosophy and Literature of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and a B.A. in Cinematography at the University Center for Film Studies (CUEC-UNAM), in Mexico City. From 2011 to 2012 he worked as research assistant for the Doctor of Literature Yvette Jiménez de Báez at the Colegio de México; in 2016 he received the Young Creators scholarship from the Mexican National Fund for Culture and Arts (Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes, FONCA). His short film Campo abierto (2016) is part of the Official Selection of the 11th Shorts México festival and the 14th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM).
