Fernández Talamantes, Julio

He studied Communication Sciences at the Intercontinental University, in Mexico City. He began his career in public television in 2006, producing programs such as Diversidad (INAH – Canal 22), Piedras que hablan (INAH – Canal 22), Viajar para contar (Canal Once) and BIOS (CONABIO / Canal 22). In 2010 he founded Perro Rojo, a production company focused on documentary television that has collaborated with government branches such as the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH), the Mexican Commission for the Knowledge and Use of Biodiversity (CONABIO), Canal 22, and Canal 11, among others. His first feature-length documentary film Mexicanos de bronce (2016), part of the Official Selection of the 14th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), was part of the Work in Progress of the 2012 Mexico City International Documentary Film Festival (DocsDF) and of the 2013 Los Cabos International Film Festival.
