Henaine; Luis Javier He graduated from Communication with a specialty in Cinema from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA), Mexico City, where he received both an Honorable and a Laudatory Mention for his graduation short film Cruces desiertas (2006). He has directed many short films and commercials. He participated in the Official Selection of the 1st KINOKI Festival Internacional de Cine Universitario KINOKI, Mexico, with his short film El sonido del silencio (2004). With Cruces desiertas (2006) he participated in the 1st Los Angeles International Short Film Festival, USA; in the 3dr Festival Internacional de Cine Contemporáneo (FICCO), Mexico City; he won Best Short Film, Best Director, Best Edition and a Special Mention from the Jury for Photography in the 3dr KINOKI. He participated in the art exhibition Ni una más, The Juárez Murders (2010) in the Leonard Pearlstein Gallery, Philadelphia, USA. He participated in the 12th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), Mexico, and in the 11th Dubai International Film Festival, United Arab Emirates, with his first feature film Tiempos felices (2014).
