Verrechia; Dylan

He received a BFA in Film & Television from New York University (NYU) and a DEUG Degree of Performing Arts, Philosophy & Photography, from the Universidad Paris X Nanterre, France. His work has been shown at more than 50 festivals around the world, where it has won numerous national and international awards. His feature film Tijuana Makes Me Happy (2007) won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Narrative Feature at the Slamdance Film Festival, Park City, Utah, and the Indie Max Award at the 13th SAFILM - San Antonio Film Festival, United States. He participated in the 8th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) with his feature film Tierra Madre (2010), which received a Jury Honorable Mention. This film, co-directed with Aideé González, won other awards, including Best Narrative Feature at the 28th Reeling Chicago LGTB International Film Festival, Illinois; Best International Film at the 1st Out in the Desert: Tucson’s International LGBT Film Festival, Arizona; and Best Picture at the 10th Barcelona International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival (FICGLB), Spain.
