Rozental; Sandra

She studied political science and cultural studies and received a master’s degree in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University (GU) and a master’s degree and Ph.D in sociocultural anthropology from New York University (NYU). She participated in the 11th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) with her first feature length documentary La piedra ausente (2013), which has been shown at more than 10 film screenings and festivals around the world, and won, among other awards, the Jury Award at the 52nd Ann Arbor Film Festival (AAFF), Michigan; the Zapata Award for Best Documentary at the 7th Festival de la Memoria, Documental Iberoamericano (FMDI), Mexico; and the award for Best Animation Proposal at the 15th Crystal Screen Festival, Mexico.
