His short fiction film El beso (2014) was part of the Official Selection of the 12th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) and has also participated in more than 10 festivals around the world, including the Short Film Corner of the 67th Cannes Film Festival France; the 17th Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF), Mexico; the 6th Seoul International Extreme-Short Image & Film Festival (SESIFF), South Korea; and the 12thKinofilm, Manchester International Short Film Festival, England, among others. The film received the Best Short Film and Audience Awards at the Wimbledon International Short Film Festival (WISFF), London, and the Best Short Film of Nuevo León award at the 10th Monterrey International Film Festival (FIC Monterrey), Mexico.
