Image Díaz Vega, José Leonardo He studied cinematography at the CCC film school in Mexico City. He is currently working there on a screenplay for his first feature film and graduate thesis Aunados, which will be filmed in 2015. His short fiction film Nunca regreses (2014) is part of the Official Selection of the 12th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). The film has been shown at various film festivals around the world, including the 38th Festival des Films du Monde (FFM Montréal), Canada; the 17th Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF); and the 5th Oaxaca Film Fest. He received for this work the awards for Best Iberoamerican Short Film at the 29th Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG) and the Best Mexican Short Fiction Film at the 10th Monterrey International Film Festival (FICMonterrey).
