Image Rivera Águila, Francisco X. He studied filmmaking at the CUEC–UNAM film school in Mexico City. He participated in the Guadalajara Talents 2009 and the Berlinale Talents 2014. His short fiction film Nia (2006) was presented at the 5th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). He won the Silver Goddess for Best Editing at the 36th Silver Goddess Awards Mexico for Espiral (2007) by Jorge Pérez Solano, a feature film that participated in the 6th FICM. He was nominated in the same category at the 42nd edition of the Silver Goddess Awards for the feature-length fiction film Colosio: El asesinato (2012) by Carlos Bolado.
