Espinosa Juárez, Hugo

He studied communication at the Universidad Latinoamericana (ULA) in Mexico City. He participated with his short fiction film René (2008) in the 6th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) and the 7th Short Shorts Film Festival Mexico (SSFFM), among others. He is the producer of the short fiction film Porcelana (2013) by Betzabé García, selected in the 11th FICM, and winner of the Mexican Short Film award at the 16th Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF) and of the Best Production Value award at the 16th Crystal Screen Festival in Mexico City. Along with Ernesto Martínez Arévalo, he produced the documentary feature film by Roberto Fiesco, Quebranto (2013), which won the Guerrero Press Award at the 11th FICM and the Maguey Award for Best Picture at the 28th Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG), among others.
