Image Ferráez, Miguel He studied communication with a specialty in film at Anáhuac University in Mexico City. His work has been shown at more than 20 festivals around the world. He participated in the 9th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) with his short fiction film Assemblé (2011), which won, among other awards, the Crystal Heart Award for Best Student Narrative at the 22nd Heartland Film Festival, Indiana; Best Student Short Film at the 7th Leiden International Film Festival (LIFF), Holland; and Best Mexican Short Film at the 8th Kinoki International College Film Festival, Mexico City. His short fiction film El curso intermitente (2013) won the award for Best Mexican Short Film at the México 2 mil competition at the 4th International Film Festival of Puebla (FIC Puebla); Best Short Film and Best Director awards at the 2nd Short Shorts Film Festival Toluca; and the award for Best Short Film at the 2nd Toluca Film Festival (FICCHT, in Spanish), Mexico, among others.
