Image Camacho Maciel, Armando He studied communication at the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC, in Spanish). He won first place in the 10th edition and 2nd place in the 8th edition of the International Salon of Cartoons and Comic Strips of Tijuana. His animated short film La excursión de los mandados (2005) participated in the 15th San Diego Latino Film Festival (SDLFF) and the 6th National Festival of NewFilmmakers in Havana, among other film screenings and festivals, and won a Special Mention at the 4th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM).
