Bahena, Edgar

He studied visual arts with a speciality in photography and film at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEM). He participated with his feature-length documentary Líbranos del mal (2006) in the 2nd International Documentary Film Festival of Mexico City (DocsDF, in Spanish) and in the 1st  Iberoamerican Documentary Film Festival of Memory (FMDI, in spanish), Cuernavaca, among others. He participated in the 6th FICM with the short fiction film Olvidarte nunca (2008), which was also presented at the 37th International Film Festival of Huesca, Spain; the 24th Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG); and the 5th Short Shorts Film Festival Mexico (SSFFM), among other festivals.
