Image Ostos Yaber, Jonathan He studied 3D animation and visual effects at the Vancouver Film School (VFS) and received a master’s degree in character animation from the University of West England (UWE). He participated in the 7th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) with his short animated film La nostalgia del Sr. Alambre (2009), which was presented at more than 200 festivals around the world, and won, among other prizes, the Coup de Cœur award at the 71st awards ceremony of the National Film Board of Canada (NFB); the Simona Gesmundo award given by UNESCO and the Italian Film Academy; and a Jury Special Mention at the 38th International Film Festival of Huesca, Spain. His short film Who killed Imagination (2012) won the Creative Focus award at the 36th Annecy International Animated Film Festival in France. He participated in the International Pitching Market at the 15th Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF) and the Binger Writers Film Lab, Holland, 2011, with his animated feature film project The Morphable Man (finished in 2014).
