Image Sánchez Novaro; Lucero She studied filmmaking at the CCC film school in Mexico City. She received the Young Creators Grant from the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (FONCA) in 2014. Her short film Miel (2010) participated in more than 20 festivals around the world, including the 8th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), the 6th São Paulo International Film Festival, Brasil, and the 33th Rencontres Henri Langlois, International Film Schools Festival in France. Miel won the Best Actress award and an honorable mention at the 6th Short Shorts Film Festival Mexico (SSFFM) and an honorable mention at the 11th International Film School Festival in Uruguay. Her short film Sangre de mi sangre (2014) won the Professional Emerging Talent Award at the 1st A Shaded View On Fashion Film (ASVOFF) in Mexico. Her short film Malva (2015) is part of the Official Selection of the 13th FICM. She is currently filming his first feature film Las olas.
