She received the Fellowship for the Promotion of Projects and Co-investments of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (FONCA), Mexico, to make her short film Cómo mirar bajo la lluvia (2010); which participated in the 8th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), in the 1st Lakino – Latin American Film Festival Berlin, in the 6th Short Shorts Film Festival Mexico (SSFFM), and the Short Film Corner at the 64th Cannes Film Festival.
