Image Meyer; Matías He studied filmmaking at the CCC film school in Mexico City. He has participated in six editions of the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM): the 2nd FICM with El pasajero (2004); the 4th FICM with Verde (2006); the 6th FICM with Wadley (2008); and the 7th FICM with Calambre (2009). In the 9th FICM, he competed with Los últimos cristeros (2011), a film traveled at more than 20 film festivals around the world and received various awards, including Best Latin American Director at the 3rd Annual Cinema Tropical Awards; the Coup de Coeur award at the 24th Toulouse Latin American Film Festival; Best Film of the TV UNAM Selection from the 2nd UNAM International Film Festival (FICUNAM); Best Film at the 17th Split Film Festival in Croatia; and Best Film at the 1st Riviera Maya Film Festival (RMFF). He won the Mexican Feature Film Award at the 13th FICM for his feature film Yo (2015).
