His work has been presented at more than 10 festivals around the world. He participated in the 5th Riviera Maya Underground Film Festival (RMUFF) with his short fiction film París (2010), which won the Best Comic Screenplay award at the 13th Crystal Screen Festival, Mexico. He won the award for Best Production Value at the 14th Crystal Screen Festival for his short fiction film 2042 (2011), which was also presented at the 9th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM); at the Short Film Corner at the 64th Cannes Film Festival, France; at the 18th San Diego Latino Film Festival (SDLFF); at the 14th Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF); and at the 6th Short Shorts Film Festival México (SSFFM).
