Image Ulacia, Daniel He studied visual arts at the National School of Visual Arts (ENAP) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He participated in two editions of the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM): in the 9th FICM with his short animated film Sequía (2011) and in the 10th FICM with Paradero Norte (2012), where it received the award for Best Short Documentary. Paradero Norte was also presented at the 5th “Cinema Planeta” International Film and Environment Festival, Morelos; the 53rd Critics’ Week, parallel section of the Cannes Film Festival; and the 8th International Documentary Film Festival of Mexico City DocsDF. In 2014, he took part in the artist residency program of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (FONCA) at the Werkleitz Centre for Media Art, Germany.
