Zúñiga, Juan Manuel

He studied social psychology at the Universidad Mexicana (UNIMEX) and is currently studying film at the CCC film school in Mexico City. He participated in the 10th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) with his short fiction film Don Sabás (2012), that was shown at more than 30 film screenings and festivals around the world and won, among other prizes, the Best International Short Fiction Film award at the 15th ICARO International Central American Film Festival, Guatemala; the Critics’ Award for Best Picture at the 6th Kustendorf International Film and Music Festival, Serbia; and an Honorable Mention at the 19th International Film Festival Etiuda & Anima, Krakow. His short fiction film Number Eighty (2016) is part of the Official Selection of the 14th FICM.
