His animated short film Electrodoméstico (2013) participated in the 11th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), the 16th Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF), the 37th Montreal World Film Festival (FFM),the 35th International Festival of New Latin American Film in Havana, among others, and it won the Rigo Mora Award for Best Animated Short Film at the 28th Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG, in Spanish) and the Best Animated Short Film at the 5th Latin American Film Festival of Flanders.
