Turno nocturno revisits the famous story of La Planchada, the impeccable ghost of a nurse who wanders the Juarez Hospital in Mexico City.

In the film, patients believe that La Planchada is there to help them, but the nurses and doctors know the truth and must follow her rules to the letter. There, Rebeca, a probationary nurse, must not only prove her worth to her superiors but also confront this dreaded entity.

The film was presented at Cinépolis Morelia Centro, in the presence of the director and actress Paulina Gaitán, who said they were happy to be in the Michoacán capital for the premiere.

Rigoberto Castañeda rose to fame with Kilómetro 31 (2006), about a popular ghost story of a boy who haunts the Mexico-Toluca highway since he drowned.
