Fernanda Romandía on her approach to the project which was initially planned as documentary
"It all started because I was doing a documentary on the registry of the construction work and started getting to know these characters, so we began to turn it into fiction, to make them act. The script came last... When I started making the documentary I was looking for characters to feed it and as the construction went on, it was fictionalized gradually, they started acting, the idea that it was no longer a documentary made things complicated. I was no longer talking about the construction, I was talking about the lives of these characters. That's how it began changing".

Ricardo Cruz, the Michoacan actor, talked about his experience on the big screen

"I felt really good, it's a very beautiful experience, I have not seen myself yet but we'll see how it goes. Fernanda was leading me here, I learned the script quickly and improvised."
