The screening was presented by Rafael Aviña, researcher, critic, film chronicler, and contributor to the column “Voz en off” on moreliafilmfest.com. Rafael Aviña The film tells the story of Lupe, a beautiful and cheerful young woman, who is in love with a sailor named Juancho, but at the same time she is being courted by Ramón and the old don Atanasio. Amidst the confusion of waiting for Juancho, Lupe promises to marry Ramón. Aviña told the audience that the version they were about to see would be in 35mm.
