In a forgotten Mexican village caught in the crossfire between the military and the cartels, a little boy’s mother disappears. The boy’s grandmother tells him to go to the forest and pray to the gods of nature for her safe return. As the villagers prepare for a final showdown with the military, the boy escapes to the forest to beg for his mother.
