Wadjda is a 10-year-old girl who wants a green bicycle. However, the culture around her, essentially religious, forbids women from riding a bicycle, among many other things. In spite of those impediments, Wadjda figures out a way to have a bike. The director Haifaa Al-Mansour is the first female filmmaker in Saudia Arabia.
