Indigenous Mexican Women Filmmakers Showcase

The Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) presents the  Indigenous Mexican Women Filmmakers Showcase 2020, a selection of films by contemporary women filmmakers from different Indigenous communities in Mexico, as well as conversations on topics such as identity, gender perspective, and new narratives

Their films show the plurality and complexity of the multiethnic and multicultural Mexico that we are. Furthermore, it shows their perspective as Indigenous women and as women filmmakers.
