Mary Bell is a Scottish producer of feature documentaries. She founded Bofa Productions with Adam Dawtrey in 2013. Their feature credits include A Story of Children and Film (2013), Antonia Bird: From EastEnders to Hollywood (2016), Stockholm, My Love (2016), TheEyes of Orson Welles (2018), The Story of Looking (2021),Iorram (2021), Celluloid Underground (2023), and A Sudden Glimpse to Deeper Things, which won the Grand Prix Crystal Globe at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 2024. Bell was previously deputy managing director of Hat Trick Productions in London, where she produced many hit TV comedy shows, including Father Ted and Have I Got News for You. She won an Oscar® in 1989 for producing the short film Work Experience.
