La hija de todas las rabias de Laura Baumeister

La Hija de Todas las Rabias is a film that talks about abandonment and reflects on the responsibility we have as a society over children. Shot through the eyes of María, an 11-year-old girl who lives with her mother in the largest dumps in Nicaragua.

“I am abandoning you because you won’t survive with me,” Baumeister shared.

Regarding her approach to such a difficult and current topic all over the world, Baumeister explained the reflection that results from such a delicate and real project. "There are projects that not only go through one as an artist but also as a human [...] art has something very beautiful, which is the ability to touch new fibers in others and break prejudice," said the Nicaraguan director.

Laura Baumeister also participated with her documentary short Ombligo de agua (2018) at the 16th edition of FICM.
