Gallardo La Caída (2022), by filmmaker Lucía Puenzo, had its world premiere at the 20th Morelia International Film Festival, with the presence of actress and producer Karla Souza and a large part of the team. In La Caída, Mariel, a veteran diver, has one last chance to fulfill her Olympic dream, but a terrible truth comes to light and confronts her with the most important question of her life: is her greatest dream to win? Actress Karla Souza first thanked the audience, and then Amazon Studios, Filmadora and FICM, "for giving us the platform to tell this intimate and courageous story. The film is no longer ours, it is yours," she added.
