Cast of El águila y el gusano The film crew took the stage and, amidst applause from the audience, the director thanked them. Hugo Hiriart, author of the novel on which the film is based, was also in attendance. The film is about an eloquent politician and his advisor, a disenchanted journalist, and a gorgeous beauty salon owner whose lives will sooner or later collide.
