In the presence of the founder and general director of FICM, Daniela Michel, who thanked Channel 22 for always being a magnificent ally and a great friend of the festival, Gabriel Santander explained that he made Un mundo sin Toledo “so that everyone can feel all the lyrical arguments to understand why Francisco Toledo was the most important plastic artist in Mexico, not only because of his artistic works, but also for his activism.”

More than a year after the death of artist Francisco Toledo, this documentary recounts his contributions as a social activist and as an exceptional creator, considered in life as the most important artist in Mexico. Aspects of Juchitán and the city of Oaxaca are shown, highlighting all the cultural institutions that Francisco Toledo supported and founded.
