Carlos Guevara, Sergio Pimentel It was presented by Sergio Pimentel, director of Sistema Michoacano de Radio y Televisión, accompanied by the director of the documentary.During the film's presentation, Sergio Pimentel highlighted its value: "This work portrays a work that can change the reality of the people of Michoacán. All native peoples have the right to govern themselves according to their values, interests and requirements."The documentary takes a journey through the lands and native peoples of Michoacán to unravel what lies behind the stories of resistance against continuous attempts to dispossess them of their territories and annihilate their culture.Before presenting the documentary, Carlos Guevara highlighted the importance of showing this type of film: “Documentaries have given us lessons in dignity and justice. They help us to understand the indigenous communities and give a voice to as many people as possible within the communities."
