FICM and LEXUS: A Creative Alliance in Support of the Arts

Before the screening of Coup de Chance (2023, dir. Woody Allen) at the 22nd Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), Daniela Michel, the founder and general director of the festival, expressed her gratitude to Lexus, a sponsor for the third consecutive year.

“Today we are especially grateful and we celebrate the support that Lexus has always given us,” Daniela Michel said, stressing how essential the brand is in their development. Osiel Pinal, head of Marketing and Public Relations for Lexus Mexico, was present at the screening and thanked the audience for taking the time to go to a movie theater. “More than just an event, this is an opportunity to enjoy everything creative minds bring to the world for a whole week. What they dedicate their lives to,” Pinal said, emphasizing his admiration for Morelia and FICM.

The short film Lexus Voices was screened prior to Coup de Chance. The short film explores Lexus's deep connection and commitment to art, a relationship that has existed since the brand's inception.
