Set in a post-WWII era, The Fabelmans, Sammy Fabelman uncovers a devastating family secret and explores how the power of movies helps us see the truth about each other and ourselves.

In addition to the film, Voces Lexus, a promotional video about the role of artists in the world, was presented. Filmmaker Manolo Caro and plastic artist Javier Marín, creator of El Ojo statuette (given to the winners of each edition of FICM) contributed to the video.

“We are a brand that’s strongly committed to all art and that’s why we’re here at the Morelia International Film Festival presenting this short with great people like Javier [Marín] and Manolo Caro”, said Lexus Marketing Director, Osiel Pinal.

Manolo Caro said that he was pleased to collaborate with Lexus and FICM "which is where I presented my last three films, and I really want to return."

Alejandro Ramírez, director of the festival, highlighted the importance of adding brands such as Lexus to FICM, brands "that support art, and in this case, cinema." He also recognized and thanked Manolo Caro and Javier Marín for their work.
