The film tackles the story of professional makeup artist, Keta, who, overweight, addicted to marijuana and pink haired, can't seem find work anywhere, so she ends up delivering drugs to a series of characters ranging from her landlady to a soap opera actress, passing through a couple of swingers, an old-fashioned housewife and even a nun. The film is the first work as directors of Fernando Sma and Julio Bekhór, however, the latter has already participated as an actor in many films, series and telenovelas such as Ella es Ramona (2015, dir. Hugo Rodriguez) and 3 idiotas (2017, dir. Carlos Bolado), to mention a few. The presentation was attended by directors Fernando Sma and Julio Bekhór, screenwriter Alberto Cohen, producer Claudia del Castillo and actresses Mayte Vallejo, Patricia Reyes Espindola, Leticia Huijara, Fabiola Campomanes and other cast members. Tripping Thru Keta's cast. Mayte Vallejo commented: "Tripping Thru Keta has no moralizing intentions, it aims to give all the information necessary to decide. You can't tear the problem from the root without knowing it. But we can help people to experience, through the film, a great closeness to the consequences."
