The film tells us the story of María García, heir to a tequila factory in Jalisco. In a market dominated by foreign corporations, she tries to keep her business going, getting closer to Rafa, her new manager.

“Thank you very much for being here, we are very happy to finally be in Morelia, premiering our film in Mexico.” With these words, director Juan Pablo Gonzáles received the audience and began the conference.

The director and the co-writer spoke about how the film was made: "I think that the issue of foreign companies was something that we thought of as a reference," the director of the film said.

During the presentation, they also talked about all the changes that the film underwent during the production process. Dos Estaciones began with the idea of talking about corn, but it changed as locations were scouted and during discussions among the team. "The film took giant steps at each stage, it changed drastically," said Ilana Coleman about it.

At the end of the conference, Teresa Sánchez expressed her gratitude towards the director and the rest of the film crew: “They’re the family that is shaping me. Everything we live humbles us and it’s something that I wouldn’t change for anything.”
