Wadley is a film characterized by long shots like the ones used by Lisandro Alonso or Abbas Kiarostami, they are used mainly to confront loneliness and nature in their most powerful forms. The film is about a young man who decides to take a journey into the Mexican desert with the sole objective of eating peyote and to find himself spiritually. Without dialogues, the amazing images of the desert views create a profound spiritual experience. Wadley is the first long film of Matias Meyer, and was premiered in the last edition of FICM, 4 years after the filmmaker won the award for Best Short Film in FICM 2004 with his work, El pasajero.

In Lección relámpago, Miguel, a famous artist meets Sofia, a children´s book editor, in an art gallery. She visits Miguel in his studio to take a quick lesson on art that will certainly change her life. Lección relámpago, was shown in a special screening during FICM 2005.
