On the audience's reaction to the film

"In this movie, I'm trying to show all points of view on the matter. It's like the characters in the film: some say it's okay to forgive, others say it is wrong. This 'eye for an eye' law, of revenge, is very tough. A lot of girls do it, others choose not to, but this comes from the roots of Iran, where if someone kills, they get killed, if someone hangs, they are hung too".
