Pierre Filmon, Jerry Schatzberg The documentary portrays the talented Jerry Schatzberg, a filmmaker who is a member of the New Hollywood movement and winner of the Palme d'Or with Scarecrow in 1973. This documentary focuses on his work as a photographer in the 1950s and 1960s. Schatzberg is known for his photographic work with The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and other artists. Additionally, he has worked for magazines like Vogue, Esquire, and McCalls. Daniela Michel, founder and general director of the festival, and Barry Jenkins, Oscar winner for Best Adapted Screenplay and director of the Oscar-winning film Moonlight (2016), attended the screening. "I want to thank Daniela, Cuauhtémoc and Alejandro with all my heart, with admiration, and with great respect for presenting the film," added Filmon, who also expressed his gratitude to the audiences and to the people involved in making the festival happen. “I am not someone who knows how to speak in public, most of my work is visual, but I very much agree with what he (Pierre Filmon) said about thanking Daniela and all of you. I hope you enjoy the movie. I’d never seen it on the big screen until now," Schatzberg added before starting the screening.
