Image Ortega García, Alicia She studied cinematography at the CUEC-UNAM film school in Mexico City. She participated with her documentary short film Ciudad sin fin (2012), in co-direction with Mauricio Arechavala, in the 35th International Festival of New Latin American Film, Havana, Cuba, and in the 8th Short Shorts Film Festival México (SSFFM), Mexico City. Her short fiction film Xochicalco, altar al tiempo (2014) was part of the Official Selection of the 12th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). Her short fiction film Return to the Brume (2016) is part of the Official Selection of the 14th FICM.
