Image Ojeda-Dávila, Jorge He studied Communication at the Universidad Vasco de Quiroga, Michoacán, received a master’s degree in Science with a specialty in Communication from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM), and did postgraduate studies in Cinematography at the London Film School (LFS). In 2010 he participated in The New Galerie, in London, with his experimental short film Making Art (2010). He has participated as a director in two editions of the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM): in the 9th FICM with his short fiction film Una conexión perdida (2011) and in the 10th FICM with Corazón de oro (2012). His feature film project, Verano, was part of the International Pitching Market at the 16th Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF). He worked as actor and director of photography in the short fiction film by Ana Ireri Campos Estrada, Historias (2014), which was part of the Official Selection of the 12th FICM. His short fiction film The Burning (2016) was part of the Official Selection of the 14th FICM and it was also selected in other festivals, including the Oaxaca Film Fest and the Feratum Film Fest – Fantastic Film Festival, Horror and Sci-fi, both in Mexico.
