He founded Matruska Films in 2010 and since then has directed and produced several audio-visual projects. His first short film Volemos tomados de la mano (2005) was presented at various festivals in Latin America, including the 4th Puebla International Film Festival, Mexico; the 14th Cinesul Iberoamerican Film and Video Festival, Río de Janeiro, Brazil; and the 4th International Festival of Poor Cinema, Cuba, among others. His short film Arroz (2012) toured numerous festivals around the world, including the 10th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), Mexico; the 7th Short Shorts Film Festival Mexico (SSFFM); the 27th Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG), Mexico; the 35th International Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana, Cuba; the 10th Short Circuit Latino Shorts Film Festival in New York, USA; the 5th Flanders Latin American Film Festival, Belgium; and the 53rd International Film Festival of Cartagena de Indias (FICCI), Colombia, among others.
