Image Sistos Moreno, Jorge He studied philosophy at the Michoacán University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo (UMICH, in Spanish). He also took various screenwriting workshops with writer Alejandro Hosne and a film appreciation workshop with the late communication theorist, critic and film expert Joaquín Rodríguez, who was a founder and program director of the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). He participated in the Michoacán Short Film Section of the 11th Morelia International film Festival (FICM) with his short film Secreto (2013) and with Juego de tenis (2014) at the 12th FICM. His short fiction film The solitude of images (2016) is part of the Official Selection of the 14th FICM.
