Caballero Trujillo, Edson

He studied photography and experimental film at the Manuel Álvarez Bravo Photography Center and a course in film production at the independent agency of comprehensive communication Cien Volando. He received grants from the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (FONCA, in Spanish), among other institutions. With this grant, he completed the feature-length documentary Atempa: sueños a la orilla del río (2013), winner of the Klic Award for Best Documentary at the 11th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) and the prize for Best Mexican Documentary at the 4th FIC Puebla International Film Festival (FIC Puebla).
