Gallardo (@unamerde ) Yarden, the Swedish filmmaker, is part of the Berlinale Spotlight, a selection of the best of German film presented in our fourteenth edition. Måns Månsson, who has directed documentaries such as Stranded in Canton (2014), is presented with Yarden (2016), film starring Dennis Axner, Veselko Bedi and Robert Bengtsson. Måns Månsson Månsson speaks about the character: "The most banal things can affect you. The character wants to do good, but there comes a time when he doesn't know how to do it and he ends up doing things he doesn't believe himself capable of. The conclusion is that it's easy to be nice and good if it doesn't cost you, but that has a cost."
