Ganadores del 10º FICM en la Semana de la Crítica

Gracias a la sólida alianza que el festival mantiene con la Semana de la Crítica, desde 2005 algunas películas participantes en el FICM se muestran en una función especial en esta sección paralela del Festival de Cannes. Asimismo, todos los años, una selección de películas de la Semana de la Crítica se presenta en Morelia.

A continuación, puedes leer una entrevista con cada uno de los cineastas premiados en el 10º FICM que exhibirán su trabajo en la Semana de la Crítica 2013.

What has been the trajectory of Aún nos queda el recuerdo since it won Special Mention at the 10th FICM?

It was in the Official Selection of the Zanate Video and Film Festival and it was presented in March 2013 at the Panorama Documentary section of the Cinélatino Festival, Rencontres Cinémas d’Amérique Latine de Toulouse.

How has the audience reacted towards your work? What comments have you received?

It has been well received. In general, it has had a reception that is very close to the idea that inspired the short film: the nostalgic feeling that is generated by the collecive memories about a city.

 What does it mean to screen Aún nos queda el recuerdo at the Critics’ Week?

It is wonderful. Since the short film is a portrait of the cinemas in Morelia in the past, the fact that it will be shown at Cannes suggests it accomplishes its goal: to be a universal work. It’s a project born in my city, but on a deeper level it deals with how time transforms our surroundings.
