Vodka Lemon In a Kurdish village in the Caucasus surrounded only by snow, sixtysomething year-old Hamo lives with the consequences of being a retired member of the Red Army. A widower, the only thing he has left is a television set, his old army uniform, and a seven dollar pension. Every day, Hamo goes to the cemetery to talk to his wife. A little further down, Nina, a beautiful fifty year-old widow, brushes the snow off her husband?s grave. They soon realize that a common ritual unites them, and that in the midst of such a cold, hostile climate, a warm relationship can grow between them
